The Sims 2 Online

I'm a rather frustrated MMO gamer; there just isn't an MMO out there that covers everything I want. Ultima Online is the closest but it's so dated now, I want something new. What I really want is a Sim MMO.

We all know The Sims Online failed but I've decided to go on a mission to get a new Sims MMO, a good one, one that we all would play and for a very long time. To achieve this I have started writing a comprehensive game guide to a Sims MMO game that doesn’t exist. This may seem a little crazy but it's the only way I can think of illustrating how a Sims MMO might work well amongst all the other MMOs out there.

So using my new site www.simlandia.co.uk, along with this blog, my forum and a new petition I have created I will make this game guide and send out the word. I hope that the more interest I get and feedback from Sims and MMO lovers alike we can create a great idea for a game and with many names signed on the petition get the interest of some developers.

So please join me and help make this dream become a reality.

The new site will be located at www.simlandia.co.uk. Currently the guides are not up there yet but I hope to get them working in their old farmat for now soon. Sorry for the long patch without them.

If you are interested in the guides being online and you feel you would use them, please let me know and post a comment. It would help me move faster to get it all working if I know people are keen to use them. :)

Host & Name Change

Hello,

I've been having terrible trouble with my host for Laila Mania and so have decided to change the host, but me previous host is being really difficult about releasing www.lailamania.com so I am also having a name change.

I do this reluctantly because I still want you all to be able to find my website, but I can't seem to resolve this problem any other way.

Tomorrow www.lailamania.com should be back online as normal for a short time, but I shall make the redirect nice and obvious when it happens.

Sorry for all the problems peeps, but it's almost resolved :)

Suspended Website

Hi Everyone,

I'm really sorry about the website being suspended, I paid my bill and went away for christmas only find on my return the horror! :O website suspended. Turns out that it's being so well used that not only did we exceed the maximum use but smashed through it and almost doubled it's allowed use before it was suspended :D I'm grateful to all for the support.

I've increased the service and the website has returned to normal, please continue to use freely and I hope to continue the MySims Agents guide shortly.

Internet Problems

I have found a PC and managed to login to my blog. I need to let you know that my internet, phone and television services at my home are down and currently have no way of getting online to post of my forum or update my guide.

I'm presently being told I should be back online on December 1st, during that time I will endeavour to get to a PC and answer on my forum where possible but the answer my come slow. :(

MySims Agents Guide Update

I feel awful. I didn't manage to complete the Jungle section on the guide as promised by Sunday evening GMT.

I worked on it all weekend and I still didn't get it done. I'm at work now but Im home again wednesday 8am GMT and I will be working on it all day again.

I'm desprate to get it done, I haven't watched tv in weeks, my virgin box is about to burst and my boyfriend hardly ever sees me lol It is a serious mission to get it done, the broadwalk level has just been really hard to write, its the underwater section, its a nightmare!

Weekly Update

I have been working hard the past couple of weeks on the MySims Agents Guide and I'm continuing that effort today by trying to complete The Broadwalk level.

I'm really pleased to have people joining and posting on my forum, may it long continue. I guess I just keep needing to give you reasons to visit. :)

There is a new poll in the forum asking if my guide has been useful to you so far and a great opportunity to post comments on what you liked or didn't like and what you think would make it better. I love feedback so please keep the posts coming.

My mission this week is to complete the Jungle and start the Dispatch Missions page. The game does end after the Jungle but you should keep playing and complete the side missions for an 'extra' ending. :)

Anyway, hope you all have a great fireworks night this weekend, whatever you do.

General Update

After a long hiatus due to a house move and other troubles I am now back and ready to go!

I will focus my attention back to the MySims Kingdom guide, but for the moment I will make a MySims Agents one as that is now the most recent game. It's also already written just need to get it into html format and on the site which is a large job!

In the mean time if you are playing it and have any questions about the game, just post in the forum and I shall get the answer to you.

I've missed my website and I'm looking forward to getting it off he ground again.

MySims Kingdom Guide Update

Today I have managed to get the entire of Renee's Nature Preserve page completed on my guide for MySims Kingdom.

I have also been playing a lot of Professor Layton and the Curious Village recently and really loving it, I'm confident that I can help answer any puzzle you may be stuck on, so if you wish to know the answer to one just let me know that name or number of the puzzle.

I'm considering putting them all on my website at a later date for people to use when stuck, but I must finish MySims Kingdom Guide first.

MySims Kingdom Completed

Today I fially complete MySims Kingdom, that means I know everything I want to put in my guide and I shall complete it one island at a time.

It's a really great game, it has its own charm to that of the first on the Wii and if I had to pick a fav of the two it would be the first, but Kingdom has it's own place and I throughly enjoyed it.

So in the last couple of weeks I've completed Fable 2 and MySims Kingdom, can't wait for Animal Crossing: Lets go to the City, hopefully it will be the same as the last AC on Gamecube, but better!

MySims Kingdom Guide Update

Well I have spent many hours on this guide today, but you wouldn't know it to look at.

I'm dissappointed that there isn't more content on there by this point, but I did tons of coding. I'm not just making the guide but also trying to design it the best way I can for ease of use and this tends to require thinking, planning and a lot of coding work.

It's far from perfect and it is certainly far from complete, but I shall press on maybe a bit later today and tomorrow.

Busy Week

I haven't had much time for the MySims Kingdom guide this week so far I'm sorry to say. I've been working ten hour days, did four in a row and spent all of today doing housework and laundry.

At work this week I have been playing on the DS and the game is Professor Layton and the Curious Village, it's been great fun. I love problem solving and puzzles so this game has been great to play so far.

As I haven't touched the guide this week I now plan to spend the whole of tomorrow working on it, so hopefully by this time tomorrow there will be stacks more available for viewing.

Games of October

I very much enjoy Viva Piñata and after a big break went back to it and carried on trying to complete attracting all animals and unlocking acheivements, however after logging another 50 hours on it Fable 2 was released.

So Viva Piñata has been put back on the shelf and Fable 2 took over, after a few days I managed to complete this game and I loved every minute of it. Even though the story is done there is still plenty to do and I shall re-visit this games many times I'm sure.

But now MySims Kingdom has been launched and I am now making a guide for my website, I've made guides for the other MySims games so it seems only natual to make one for this. So that is the change you can expect on my website over the next few weeks, the addition and updating of the MySims Kingdom guide.

Beginnings

So here it is, my new blogging area.

Over time I shall add posts about games I'm playing and happenings of my website (www.lailamania.com) that is a little more up-to-date then my monthly updates.

I shall add a couple of posts today to start bulking it out and let you know what I have been playing recently and what changes will be happening to my website over the next couple of weeks.

It should also be noted that I am a massive simulation geunra and Sims fan.
